*Campaign Starting Oct. 21 Offers Residents in Four Communities a Better Way to Cook, Lower Household Energy Costs and Help Strengthen Local Grids*

**North Carolina and Georgia** - Let’s Go Electric today announced an induction cooking group purchase campaign, beginning Oct. 21, that gives residents of the Triad, Triangle, Asheville NC and Decatur GA, a more affordable path to the Electra Induction Stove, a battery-equipped induction range that plugs into a standard 120V outlet. The campaign is part of broader Electrify programs now serving communities in North Carolina and Georgia.

Most kitchens with gas ranges aren’t suited to make the transition to induction. A conventional induction range needs its own 240V circuit, which for many households means hiring an electrician, getting a panel upgrade, and paying several thousand dollars before the stove even arrives. Electra removes that barrier.

The Electra Induction Stove plugs into your existing 120V outlet, so there is no need for kitchen renovations or electrical panel upgrade. Because induction is highly efficient and burns no fuel in the home, it can also lower energy bills and improve indoor air quality. Through the group purchase, neighbors can join together to buy the Electra Induction Stove at a discounted group rate of $3,699 plus shipping.

The campaign is also about resilience: keeping a household cooking when the grid is down. The 120V Electra Induction Stove runs on standard household power and includes an integrated battery backup system, so a family can keep making hot meals through a storm or outage without a gas line or a generator. For day-to-day use, the battery quietly takes care of itself in the background. No separate charging step, no special routine.

"Electra was born from a desire to make meaningful climate impact as fast as possible using existing technology," said Bert Muthalaly, founder of Electra. "By removing the need for costly electrical upgrades and keeping kitchens powered during grid outages, we're making it easier for entire communities to transition to induction cooking seamlessly."

The Group Purchase Campaign runs Oct. 21 through Nov. 30, 2026, while supplies last, and serves North Carolina and Georgia.

**How Residents Can Learn More and Participate:**

Throughout the Campaign Period, Let's Go Electric will host a series of education and outreach events in each service area, where residents can ask questions, see induction cooking in action and learn what to expect from the switch. A schedule of event dates and locations will be available at [letsgoelectric.com](http://letsgoelectric.com).

Additional details about the Electra Induction Stove and how to join the group purchase will be announced at the October 21 webinar. Ultimately, the campaign aims to make electrification, and the savings, safety and improved comfort it can bring, easier and more accessible to everyone. The Zoom webinar is free, but [registration](https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/KyPQp9reQNaUFIW1HOvAzQ) is requested.
